Ministry Internship

The NorthRock Ministry Internship is designed to develop applicants in the skills and knowledge necessary for full-time ministry work. You will have the opportunity to develop under some of the best leaders in ministry through a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Secondary education and/or work experience equivalent.
• Completed Summer Internship or NorthRock Leadership Academy
• Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Believe they have a vocational call of ministry on their lives.
• Are 18-30 years old

You will be required to:

• Commit to the Internship for 9 months.
• Hold 20 office hours per week.
• Serve consistently in the church for a minimum of 8 months.
• Complete Discover Now.

You will be challenged by:

• Developing your leadership skills and taking your God-given talent to the next level.
• Accomplishing tasks and developing ideas to help strengthen different areas of ministry.
• Leading a small group and/or leading a Rockstar team.
• Working collaboratively with volunteers and staff members.
• Expanding your developmental and logistical knowledge of leadership and operations
• Meeting with a supervisor directing your professional development.
• Being evaluated and coached quarterly.

Resident selection will be determined by:

• Experience in your desired area and interest in ministry
• Enrollment/Employment status
• Team chemistry as demonstrated by the active role held in a particular area of ministry
• Reliability and commitment shown through previous interactions with supervisors and staff
• Desired future ministry goals
